7 Random Things Meme
My friend Melissa at Melissa's Idea Garden was tagged for this and she put it out there for whoever would like to join in, so I decided to give it a whirl!
1. When I was a kid my dad was a drag racer. He and my uncle would take turns racing his '68 Cobra Mustang while my cousins and I would be in the "pit crew". Those are some of my best memories as a kid! Hot, sticky days, loud engines, big crowds, and quality time with my dad.
2. I dream of someday publishing a novel.
3. I did my taxes this morning.
4. I have a really bad memory.
5. One of the coolest things I've ever seen was when I was driving down a dirt road and came upon this HUGE field of sunflowers. *sigh* Just amazing.
6. I need to color my hair right now. There is a whole lot of gray showing, especially at my temples. I started getting gray at 33, after major illness and several surgeries. (I've been coloring my hair since I was 12! )
7. I would choose french fries over chocolate any day of the week!

I have been coloring my hair since about 15. I like the shine that coloring gives it!
Your childhood time with your dad sounds wonderful! My dad and I went on yearly hikes into the woods and we also played a lot of board games together. I spent way more time with my mom, but the times with my dad are the ones that stand out. Isn't that funny?
