Thankful Thursday

THANKFUL THURSDAY

Today is a really good day for me to start this -- as I feel like there are so many things to complain about! I know that my life is blessed by God and by sharing some of the things I am thankful for, I am praising God for the many ways he brings joy into my life! Some of those things are huge and encompass every day of my life, and other things are small and minute which may give me a smile or some comfort.

Since today is my first "Thankful Thursday" -- I need to share how thankful I am for my relationship with the Lord. I have been having very stressful times lately and have been relying on HIM to show me through! He has given me strength, comfort, hope, and wisdom daily. Without my faith and my relationship with the Lord, my life would feel desolate.

I'm thankful for all the time I've been able to spend with my children this summer! My BOY especially. We've grown closer than ever!

I'm thankful for our upcoming vacation! We haven't been able to take a real vacation together in a long time! I hope to have many educational moments as well as bonding and a lot of fun together!

"Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD
forever."

I'm thankful that I homeschool. I'm so excited about the upcoming school year! I love the planning phase and setting up our schedule. It's one of my favorite times of the year!

I'm thankful for my family being so supportive of me. We have a very close family, and that means so much in my life.

Now for some random small things I'm thankful for:

- Finding a book I love - currently "The Yada Yada Prayer Group"

- My new CD I bought the other day with 31 wonderful praise and worship songs

- I got a small but FREE 3-piece set of luggage for our vacation and it is super cute!

- I have 6 coupons for nearly free dishwashing detergent

- I am thankful for the pink flower on my front porch, I smile whenever I see it

- I'm thankful for all of my wonderful Internet friends and for the joy reading their blogs brings me!

- I"m thankful for being able to watch t.v. on the Internet for free!

"I will praise you, O LORD, with all my heart;
I will tell of all your wonders.
I will be glad and rejoice in you;
I will sing praise to your name, O Most High."

What are you most thankful for?

Sherry
